Changes: Life Size Dancing Pirate Skeleton

The Life Size Dancing Pirate Skeleton was an animated Halloween decoration made in 2005 to 2006. It resembles a pirate skeleton with long, black hair wearing a tan shirt with a black dickey, a grey vest, dark green pants, a white and red sash around his waist, and a brown pirate hat with a red bandanna. When activated, his head turns, mouth moves, hips and arms swing, and his eyes light up red while he sings "Superfreak", "Sharp Dressed Man", "Slow Ride" and "La Grange".

Year	Variations
2005	Cotton pants and shirt. The shirt color is a very dark green mixed with a lighter tan. The sash around waist is tied on and can move freely. A second version was produced as well for Walmart stores, this one had the same appearance as the 2006 model except the base was normal and wasn't flat.
2005 (Target Exclusive)	Same as the above but features the same audio as the Life Size Dancing Tuxedo Skeleton.
2006	This model now uses a flat plastic base with the button being on the right foot and the sensor on the left. The figures controls are on the ankle of the right foot. This time it is missing the AUX and MIC ports and instead it only has a volume dial and a sensor/button on and off switch.

Trivia

A Life Size Rocking Pirate Skeleton with the same outfit was prototyped but ultimately went unproduced.
The nylon shirt and pants have a fabric similar to the type used on a Airblown Inflatable.
The Pirate utilizes the same parts as the other dancing skeletons Gemmy has made such as the Tuxedo Skeleton, Rapping Skeleton, Zoot Suit Skeleton and Dancing Grim Reaper.
A prototype 4ft version with a different outfit exists.
Along with the Life Size Dancing Santa this is one of few Dancing life sizes to have a flat base variant. These versions lack a microphone and auxiliary port.
Most Dancing life sizes reuse the same circuit board but with different changes. The flat base Santa, Pirate Skeleton and Donna The Dead have custom designed circuit boards that are small enough to fit in the right foot.
Despite Gemmy making several versions of the Life Size Dancing Skeleton this one seems to be more popular when compared to the rest.

Because of the different pants they are now stapled to the waist of the torso due to them being larger than the torso of the skeleton.  The rope around the waist is fixed in with pieces of thread in certain areas and the knot of the rope is held up and in place with thread as well.
