The Floating Ghost (alternately known as the Floating Scary Ghost to differentiate it from the others) is an animated
2002-2008 model
halloween prop made from 2003-2008, and remade from 2017-present. The original (2002-2008) version featured a ghostly figure with a skull and clawed hands. When activated, it's head and hands float up and down off of a pole on 'invisible' strings while blue lights shine on it, and ghostly moaning can be heard.
The 2017 remake features a more realistic skull and skeletal hands. This version animates a lot like the original, but with some differences in movement. The head and hands float up and down while the pole lights flash on it, and like its predecessor, ghostly moaning can be heard.

The original ghost was sold at a variety of retailers, such as Walmart and Spirit Halloween.
