Douglas Fir the Talking Wreath was an animated Christmas decoration made in 1997 and 1998, as part of the Douglas Fir series.

Available in 16" or 20" sizes, the latter adorned with a red cloth bow and including minature ornaments and a Santa's cap, the wreath version of Douglas Fir had green light-up moving eyes and a moving mouth. Its appearance looked like a regular Christmas wreath until it sensed motion and started to talk and sing "Up On The Housetop" and "Deck The Halls".

Trivia[]

  • A 14" version adorned with pinecones was licensed under Gemmy and berries, and sang "Jingle Bells". It was simply called "Talking Wreath", no name was given, and only said "Merry Christmas, Everybody" and "Happy New Year".
