Cool Catfish is an animatronic novelty item made in 2000. He gives the realistic appearance of a Channel Catfish with hillbilly teeth mounted on an oval shaped plaque. When activated by the push of a button or with motion, his head, tail, and mouth move as he sings "Bad To The Bone" by George Thorogood and also says 20 different phrases.

Trivia[]
- Some variants of Cool Catfish (Both rapping and singing/talking variants) don't have a nameplate on the plaque.
- A rapping version was also made that plays 2 versions of "I'm A Real Cool Cat". The rapping version lacks the hillbilly teeth, in turn making the item resemble a channel catfish in a more realistic form.
- In the UK, some Cool Catfish models lack the "Pork, the other white meat!" phrase for unknown reasons.
- A Bass Pro Shops exclusive version with a different name (Bubba Catfish) exists. This version of Cool Catfish wears a fisherman's hat with the Bass Pro Shops logo on it,and is mounted on a sand mound plaque (same as Travis the Singing Trout and Rocky the Singing Lobster).
